Swipe has stopped working

My VA3 does not swipe from the watch face or the left side. It used to move to the heart rate screen and then overall daily stats but now nothing. Touch screen works otherwise so just the initial swipe

I had same problem. For some reason all the widgets were removed, that is why the watchface won't scroll by swiping up or down.

Hold on the watchface screen, go to settings, then widgets. Mine was…

Hold watch face.....go to settings......go to widgets.....add the ones back that you usually use and voila! , For some reason a glitz in the system they got deleted but now its all good.Your Welcome.

I have the same issue. When trying to swipe (either by touchscreen or y side swipe) I see the screen moving slightly but then bouncing back and not moving to one of the other screens with statistics for example. Have you been able to solve it?

I’m now on version 7.20 and it has made no difference and behaves as you describe. Garmin has not responded. I’ve tried different watch faces but no improvement. It’s strange because both touchscreen and y swipe work on other pages just not from the watch face page.

In the meantime I did a reset to factory setting and this solved the problem.

Excellent, that has sorted it. I’m using the GearMin watch face and just had to re-download it. All good now. Thanks wdwd

Often a Factory Reset is not needed (I have never had to resort to this yet)

I always first try just shutting the watch off and turning back on. (easy to do, often doesn't help but nothing to loose)

Then if not helpful a "hard" restart or reboot - hold the button in until the watch powers down - usually 15-20 seconds and then turn it back on. Any steps you have for the day are usually lost but your settings are left unchanged.

I switch off every night. That did not solve the problem. Next time , if it happens again, I will try a hard reset. Thanks

Hold on the watchface screen, go to settings, then widgets. Mine was blank. Just "add" back the widgets you use and it will be back to normal.

At least this is what worked for me
