VA3 notifications stopped vibrating and calls notifications are not showing

For weeks now my VA3 decided to stop notifying me on calls. The default notifications stopped vibrating too. I checked and DND is off. Found a post on Reddit with similar issues. Anyone here have a solution?

Thanks Slight smile

    Same issue in VA3M.

  • Restarting the phone works for me.

  • any news on Garmin issuing a new FW to fix notifications amongst other things? :) I can't really call it a smartwatch if I don't get real time notifications :) They do appear on the watch but don't vibrate or show incoming calls. It's just a gps sports tracker for now.

  • FIXED (my bad I guess): CONNECT Android App/Garmin Devices(choose it)/Device Settings/Notifications and Alerts/Phone Notifications/ Choose Show All in both cases (Normal Use and during an activity)

    didnt undrstund what to do..

    i have the same problem..
    please help!

    • open the Connect app on your phone. On the left drawer click devices and the choose the vivoacitve watch. go to device settings, then all the other described submenus and select to show all notifications in both scenarios. If you still don't understand I'm afraid it's a translation issue. Good luck! :)

This method just worked for me after many frustrating attempts at other solutions. Thanks for the simple, yet hidden, solution.

I have the same problem, my watch doesn't vibrate on calls and messages and doesn't show them on the screen

  • Difficult to see. From the watch, hold for menu, scroll down to settings, then scroll to phone, make sure Notifications is green. Also settings, systems, vibrations (again make sure It is green on the toggle switch that you have to swipe on the side of the screen is set to on and is green) . This was not intuitive for me, I was clicking the vibration setting and settting to high thinking that also meant it was on, but it has to be swipe toggled on and green. A
