Garmin coach workouts reset problem & does not included daily stats (calories, steps and intensity minutes)

During garmin coach workout runs, I am experiencing a device reset or bug, at the very end of the run. What happens is that: Device stops playing music, reset screen comes, and a few seconds later device opens itself, still showing activity but paused. I manually continue activity pressing the button, then finish activity. However, the stats of activity is not counted correctly: It is shown in activity information on garmin connect or last run screen, however it is not correctly included in daily steps, daily calories, weekly intensity minutes. Today, only approximately half of it is counted for daily and weekly stats. Also, I am pretty sure device has enough battery (I started fully charged, run 30 minutes, and after reset happens it has still %70 battery, no reason to stop music player.)

Is there anyone experiencing the same issue?

    i have the same problem. Garmin Support is trying to find sollution. I was asked to reset watch to starting settings, nothing helped.

    I have guessed that they would ask a device reset, however I dont think it is because of the settings; I did not changed it much. 

    I hope they can come up with an answer, it is really frustrating though. 

  • I have the same problem. Only started last week. Have used Garmin coach before and was fine. All 4 runs since starting new coach and training plan, stopping about 100m before the end. Mine is coach Amy 10k, wondering if it is the program?

    Mine is coach Amy too but half marathon, I am on week 3 and do not want to quit the program since I should be training for a half marathon at the moment. I contacted support, they asked me some file from the watch and that was all for now. I hope it can be resolved soon. 

  • I contacted Garmin customer support 3 times and offered to replace the watch. Got a new (refurb) watch and problem persists!

    Have the same problem. Garmin supoort "had never heard about this problem before" and finally offered me a replacement. My new VA3M isn't working any better.

  • I am having the same problem.  Also coach Amy and a 5K program.  I believe this only happens when the last segment is a distance segment rather than a time segment.

    Yes, you are right. It always happens on the last segment and when goal is run a specific distance. It happens exactly when I complete workout, when the watch tries to update status to be workout completed. I am in contact with support, they keep asking me the details of settings and problem. I dont think it is about watch. I think it is a software issue/bug. 

  • I am having the same problem, I am on coach Amy and a 10K program.

    I was in the last meters of my workout and watch turned off. In 30seconds it was back to life and paused, I luckly finshed my training but the steps were missing (just showing the ones after restart).

    After one hour also the step counter recovered the missing ones.

    Sunday I had to do a workout based on time and nothing similar happened.

    The exact same thing happened to me today, right at end of the run, watch reset, when it restarted it had lost about 200m and workout was paused. No steps during this activity counted. 10k program with Amy as the coach.
