Garmin, please solve this issue or give us an option to roll back frimware. I had no issues until this battery drain problem. One week battery was the only reason I bought this watch.

Yup same battery drain issue here everything great since the purchase of Vivoactive 3 in Jan 2018.

Always had stellar battery life of about 4 days. that includes 2 x 20 mins of GPS and the built-in cycling…

Yes, I have same battery drain problem too with 6.60. It is unbearable, won't last a day too!

Thank you! I had the same problem. No HR . In the settings it was suddenly turn off. I've reactivated it. Works fine now.

I doubt they will do anything, Online support for Garmin is terrible. Nothing compared to Fitbit.

Just to chime in, had mine for maybe 18 months with no issue, suddenly noticed massive battery drain so been trying to factory reset it etc... Then figured would check the sw version and found this thread.

Let's hope they get to fix g this as I'm now charging every 2 days.. Down from 5-7 previously

Since the 6.60 upgrade my battery would last 10-12 hours max, around 4-5 days before that. I also experienced some barometer outages. Being really frustrated I returned the watch as it was still covered by warranty (~3 months left) and received a new VA 3 that is without this issue. My guess is that this bug affects older hardware revisions.

Also it took online garmin _international_ support over 1 week to tell me that they cannot help me because I don't live in UK/US. Then it took local Garmin distributor another 2.5 weeks to send me a new watch...

It is just absurd that upgrades are applied without my approval and I cannot go back to older version. It is sad that nice hardware is made useless by crappy software.

New vivoactive 3. The first synchronize process + update firmawe to the newest 6.60.
I'm disaponted, in my old Garmin Vivoactive2 HR (2 years old) - 10 days on battery there was no problem.
In my new Garmin Vivoactive3 - 2 days is max (battery drain = 1.87% per hour)

WTF?
Can I roll back the firmware to the previous verion (probable there was not problem with battery drain).

interesting, I also received my VA3 just 2 weeks ago - no battery drain issues at all.
