Garmin, please solve this issue or give us an option to roll back frimware. I had no issues until this battery drain problem. One week battery was the only reason I bought this watch.
Since it arrived on my V3 the battery drain is awful, about 8-10% per hour. It used to last 3-4 days with doing a couple of running and cycling activities, now it lasts about 1/2 a day of use as just a…
Yup same battery drain issue here everything great since the purchase of Vivoactive 3 in Jan 2018.
Always had stellar battery life of about 4 days. that includes 2 x 20 mins of GPS and the built-in cycling…
Please let us know if you get a real response. My wife's VA3 is suffering from the exact same problems and makes the watch completely useless. I really don't want to RMA the watch for a simple firmware bug.
All they mention in the Release Notes for 6.60 is:
Changes made from version 6.10 to 6.60:

When I get home tonight, I'm going to try unpairing and removing all Bluetooth devices from the watch then repairing and see if that makes any difference. Just turning off Bluetooth might help diagnose if it's a Bluetooth problem.
I have Vivoactive 3 Music s/w update 4.5, which I think is the same as the 6.6 discussed here.
I noticed my GPS distance/elevation tracking is now reduced for the same trail. Previously my distance/elevation data will be very close to other users (mostly other Garmin devices like Fenix or Edge bike computer. But now I would say the distance is 5% less and elevation is 10-20% less than before and with other Garmin users.
Is this error in tracking or will other Garmin devices get a similar update and their distance/elevation measurements get reduced?
Same problem of battery drain after SW 6.60...Garmin please resolve this issue
