Reject / Answer buttons missing

I've found similar on my VA3 music. If the phone screen is off, then I don't get the notification. If it's on I do. This is on Android, a Google Pixel 3. The notifications look different when the screen is off so I suspect it might be related to this. I've only noticed it recently, so I suspect it used to work. It's really annoying as I keep my phone on silent and use the watch for notifications, which I've done for years with various smart watches.

I would try keeping Garmin Connect on in the background on the phone.

Ok. If you do get other notifications, leaving Garmin Connect on in the background probably won't solve the problem.

I have a similar problem.

When recieving a call, the "hang up and reply with a message" icon is missing. I can only pick up or hang up.

I thought it might be due to a phone update (I have a Huawei p20).

It's really strange as it was.working fine before. I still get text messages and WhatsApp message and can reply to them no probs.

I've found that when checked the settings to ensure the app runs in the background, reset my phone and reset my watch, all of the notifications were working as normal

A am having the same issue along with I now get notification when making a call.  Seem to have started with the latest Connect update 4.19.1

It's not your VA3. It's with the last update to Garmin Connect Mobile.  I also have the LG V30 and I no longer have options to reject or answer calls on my 935 and 945.
