Is the SW for the VA3 and VA3 Music Different?

My VA3 just got updated to SW ver. 6.30, but when I looked at my VA3 Music it is at ver. 4.0. Both the watch itself and Garmin Express say that the VA 3M is up to date. Are the SW versions for each watch different? They are so alike in so many ways.

Yes, these are two different watches in terms of software.

Also, VA3M came later to the market, hence had less software updates and therefore delay in the count vs. his older brother.
