Steps count inaccurate

Hi,

I have a Vivoactive 3 and it doesn't count steps when I am inside my house

Is there any setting to change to fix that ?

Your VA3 doesn't know when you're inside so that's not it. However, the way Garmin step counters work is to only count steps after 10 steps in a row are sensed. The reason for this is to avoid false positives…

Your VA3 doesn't know when you're inside so that's not it. However, the way Garmin step counters work is to only count steps after 10 steps in a row are sensed. The reason for this is to avoid false positives. The downside is that if you walk 9 steps and then stop, the steps will be discarded. That may be what is happening to you.

It could be that indeed. Is it a parameter that can be changed, like to 5 steps instead of 10?
