Vivoactive 3 vs Apple Watch 3 reviews?

Hi, I've been using Vivoactive 3 for over a year and I really have nothing to criticize.
It's good for running, cycling and swimming.
The battery has lowered its performance a bit, at first it lasted almost a week, now 4 days, but it is nothing alarming.
And that cell phone notifications can be seen on the clock screen is good.
I wanted to know what advantages and / or disadvantages you have regarding an Apple Watch 3.
I have an iPhone and I know it would have more integration, and something that Vivoactive 3 is missing is a speaker, and although Vivoactive 3 Music has music that I currently do not have.
A very important aspect of the VA3 that is the transreflective screen.
Finally I wanted to know opinions, thanks from now!
  • My son was a serious - religious apple fan for years, a full collection of any kind of toys, last Christmas he suddenly just traded all for droid, kept the big tablet only (and I have to admit that screen graphics is really looking awesome), now he is fully running on droid.
    He is saying these are totally different animals, he didn't expect this but more then pleased with the android platform.
    (btw me (60) a linux/droid user for long time, no windows sh*t in my house)
    He droped the iphone and the iwatch for sale, picked up a Huawei P20Pro and a Samsung smart watch...both look impressive on its own.
    back to OP
    From he's feedback the apple watch could not do this and that as the VA3 can do. Based on our many conversations these two watches have different purpose, cannot compare.
    Pretty much comes down to your taste or preference, or lifestyle or what is important to you...
    back to VA3, it is not pretty but what garmin put in functions and features into this mid price range activity tracker, no smart watch can do...I have it exactly one year now, had it replaced once not sure if that was a life saving reason but when I look back along the line, I just like it how it is.

    What is a difference to me?
    - ANT+ (speed, cadence, HR, and whatever else number of sensors), you speculate what good use from these;
    - watertight, I don't need to take it of if I go paddling or SUP in example, or showering?
    - battery life, without GPS I can charge it every weekend, with GPS running half an hour every day fur lunchtime walk, I charge it twice a week maybe 3x if I am bored;
    - one app one platform for all data
    - I don't need a low resolution music from the watch, I have a S9+ with built in headphone amp and dolby atmos, in my car is the android auto with bang-olufsen, at home I have a nice hifi setup, all these I can listen a lossless audiophile quality music, where would I need a music from a watch?
