Hi guys . I want to buy for my wife V3, I will buy outside of Poland, in the Internet. What version should I buy to be able to choose Polish language and how to recognize the watch with the possibility PL?
It depends where you buy it. I bought in Germany, my VA3 is for the western region, thus I don't have Hungarian language on my watch. Turned out there are 2 versions available on the EU market, one for the west and one for east regions. It's not marked on the box which is the one you are checking (or I didn't find it).
There is significant difference in price between the HU and the DE price, a lot of the users order their watch from Germany and ask how they can install the HU language on it. I was curious if it's even possible, so. had a chat with their Support. Garmin told me I can't, neither hack it on the watch. So be carefull.
Perer, I was looking for and I have :) it is possible to install Polish or Hungarian language. It is not very simple but possible. I am an IT specialist, so I should deal with it. I can not check it, because I do not have vivoactive 3 yet. Of course, we do everything on our own responsability and being aware of potential risks.
I installed the polish language on my VA3 (and also on previous VA HR). For VA3 you will need the file POLISH.LN3. The instruction how to do it step-by-step is also on the forum.
