Cannot pair with Samsung Galaxy Buds

I cannot pair the watch with the new Galaxy Buds headphones. The devices simply don't see each other.

The watch can be paired with other headphones. And the headphones are working fine with a Galaxy S10 phone and a Surface Pro 4 laptop.

Has anyone had any luck with these?
  • Mine are working perfectly. You have to put both "buds" into your ears and touch both touch pads for 3 seconds to enter into pair mode. If I recall the buds then beep continuously while waiting to pair. Then choose to add new headphones on your watch and mine found them in a couple of seconds.

To change between using the buds with my phone or watch is as simple as reconnecting to them with either device. I am really happy with how all of this is working together with Spotify right now for pod casts!
  • My Galaxy buds pair fine and sound good... Until I connect to gps and start running. Then they constantly cut out and are unusable. Are you saying that yours are working ok while using gps?
  • Are your Galaxy Buds still working ok?  Do you run or do exercise with them and use GPS at same time?  I'm wondering whether to buy these or Backbeat 3100's for my VA3

Hi, were you able to fix the problem?

  • Thank you. This was very helpfull! Now they work after 3 seconds hold of both buds in my ear!

  • WOw!  Just got my Garmin Venu Sq Music and have been trying to pair my Galaxy Buds Live for over an hour until I found this post.   Thank you!  They paired just as you said!

  • Did not work for me... Galaxy buds pro and Venu 2 Pro

  • It didn’t for me and I got frustrated. Then I found a way. Now they work flawlessly with watch. Hold buttons down on watch to do a hard reset..wait til screen on watch goes blank and it shuts down. Wait a minute or two and then hold buttons on watch to restart it. Then pair headphones. They should pop up and start pairing process. Mine didn’t show the earbuds at all and then I reset and it was able to recognize them but not connect. I did the process a second time and voila it works! Now I’m wondering if my other headphones I bought would’ve worked lol

I have vivoactive 4 pairing with galaxy bud2
