I'm on firmware 5.90 and last GPS and sensor versions but my vivoactive 3 disconnects and reconnects to the phone every 10 minutes. I tried to pair again but it didn't help. Any clue?
this is because phone manufacturers deploy apps to kill background apps such as garmin connect in order to boast their phones have longer battery life you should complain to phone manufacturer dontkillmyapp.com
This is caused by the recent updates on Android 8 and 9 both causing bluetooth to randomly disconnect and this never happened before with my S7 but does now with my VA3 and my other smartwatches exactly the same thing and i have complained to Samsung and i got the same old BS it's not them but try this and this there useless. I do thing this was caused by Google not Samsung.
I have a Google phone and don't have this issue. The March update did have a bluetooth connectivity improvement. Maybe the other phone sellers will get around to updating their phones. When I was with Moto, the updates took many months.
