Scratches & Replace Glass. Yes, i know, i don't bought not glass protect film :(

Hi all

Recently on my road bike, a car hit me with his right mirror and down me. Fortunately, nothing happened to me and my bike...but my VivoActive 3 Music suffer some ugly scratches.

Has anyone been lucky repairing or changing the glass?

Yes, i know. Many times on many countries (even here in Chile) the Support and Technical Centers sucks but, will i have hope?

Thanks!

  • From one (long time, also had my share of car "run ins", and still riding) road cyclist to another, I'm glad you're okay!

Not sure about replacing, but if you can't get any traction that way, I'd try some "plastic polishing compound", assuming those are all scratches, and not cracks.
I bet you can get 80-90% of of it polished out, not perfect, and you'll have some micro-scratches from the compound, there's always a trade-off with stuff like this...
  • @SimonIribarren:

As you have the VA3M you'll probably get more responses in the specific sub-forum for that model.

This sub-forum is for its predecessor, the VA3.
