Vivoactive 3 converting measurements

Hello. Wondering if someone can help me. I have a Vivoactive 3 and have set up several activities via the Garmin Connect software. While all of the activities have transferred to the Vivoactive 3, I have noticed two things:

1. the strength training exercise will not update with changes to the weights I have entered since beginning my program - I have increased the weights on several of the exercises within the activity, which shows the updates correctly on Garmin Connect and in the app on my android phone, but the update will not transfer to the watch, despite verifying software updates are current and re-syncing multiple times; and,

2. the weights are entered in on the Garmin Connect/app activity in standard (pounds or "lbs") but the Vivoactive 3 continues to show the weights in metric (kilograms or "kg"). I want the weights in standard and cannot get the watch to conform, again despite all my updates and syncing.

1. On Garmin watches, activities only sync in one direction, from your watch to GC.
2. Try changing the units in the watch settings (It's def a pain how this has to be done separately):

Thanks WillNorthYork. I guess I neglected to mention that I had already checked that, too. The units in the watch settings had been set to standard (lbs). That makes it all the more confusing...
