So I was having trouble with the wrist based heartrate sensor when biking... So I purchased the strap to see if that helped. I get it to connect to the VA 3 but after a few seconds it disconnects. I hit connect again and it reconnects, after a few seconds drops again. Any help would be appreciated.
I've had issues with Garmin heart rate straps fixed by a reset (removing the battery and touching the 2 contacts to drain any residual power in the strap). Flipping the battery and putting it back does the same thing. Just need to do it for a few seconds. Of course you should also try a fresh battery. I use the heart rate strap all the time without issue with the VA3.
