Altitude and internal Temperature Sensor problem

I've been searching the forum to see if anyone else has had the same issue as I have whilst I wait for the Garmin support team to respond to me. My watch stopped recording stair climbing on the 4th of January. On the 5th of January I noticed that the internal temperature sensor was reporting -40 deg C (I'm in Australia, it was 34 deg C) and the barometric altitude was reporting -29m and then it jumped to 9980m. I was riding a horse, not flying. Now barometer and temperature widgets just have a double dash (- -) instead of a temperature of barometer reading. I believe I received the 5.7 update on the 4th. Is anyone else having this issue at all? I've reset my watch, still have the problem. I've only had it for 2 weeks, so I can still return it to where I bought it for a refund, but until it stopped working I thought it was fantastic.

Problem seems to have resolved, Garmin Express just installed the GPS update, and that seems to have fixed the problem. Everything is working as it should.

I am afraid my joy was short lived, it only worked once, and now temp and barometric altitude isn't working again.

Further update, I've solved the problem, I returned the watch to retailer and got a new replacement. It has updated to 5.70 and all working as it should. Stair counting is working as it should too.
