Vivoactive and Itunes

Hi.

I know there is no apple/ itunes app so I have downloaded Garmin Express. I have a playlist on itunes that I would like to add to my watch but for some reason I cannot see the playlist in Garmin Express. Nor can I see the songs. When I check to see 'itunes' in the 'music' folder, it shows as ticked but greyed out.

Has anyone been successful on getting music from itunes onto their Vivoactive music 3 and if so, how did you do it?

Thanks

Stephen

I was able to get my iTunes playlists onto my Vivoactive 3 music. It took a lot of fiddling around with it and I *may* have ended up having success with Windows Media Player, I cannot recall how I finally got it done.
  • Yes I have transferred playlists from iTunes but it took a lot of patience and it is flawed. - See one of my other posts.
I ran all the updates on my PC, Garmin Connect and the device as I am sure you have too. I plugged the Vivoactive into a different USB port and restarted the PC and went straight to iTunes that worked for me.
I have noticed that many (but not all) of my non-ACC files  are not recognized by Garmin Connect.
