VA3 Music and Smart Trainers?

I saw on another forum that someone had synced their Kinetic Smart Trainer to their VA3 Music - has anyone else had any experience with this or any other bike trainers and the VA3 Music?

The VA3 supports speed and cadence sensors, but not power. You can pair the watch to your smart trainer the same way you would an HR strap and it will read either of the 2 supported sensors that the trainer broadcasts.

There is also a CIQ data field (I can't remember the name right now) that you can download which will pair an Ant+ power meter signal and save it to the FIT file, but Connect won't use it to calculate cycling Vo2Max or FTP for you.
