How to add Garmin Pay or timer to watchface

Watch faces cant have interaction so it's not really possible what you ask for.

you could add a timer connect iq app to your widget loop... eg this one https://apps.garmin.com/nl-BE/apps/3293c9b6-ed58-4853-86c6-bc5859508d2e and configure it to be only a swipe away

You must be joking.
In manual in device overview it says:
"Swipe up or down to scroll through widgets, features, and menus"

Timer is feature, Garmin Pay is feature so how come features are not accessible with swipe up/down

it doesn't say scroll up or down in watch mode.
garmin pay u can, and u need to add it.

as for timer, its in there in the quick access menu or whatever it's called.
but beware, garmin have recently done something stupid in an effort to prolong battery life, so the timer will return to the watch face after 5mins or so.
the timer still runs tho, but u need to swipe back to it again.
