Used this for first time. All it showed was heartrare and calories... no steps... is this an issue just with mine or have other got this problem. What do I need to do to get working.
I use the cardio activity when on the elliptical. This will count your steps but not the distance. I then edit the activity and call it elliptical and manually add the distance the machine shows
Wondering if you’re referring to steps being shown as one of the data fields while using the app, or after you’ve saved your workout. I don’t believe "steps" is an option for data fields. My VA3 definitely counts steps while I’m on the elliptical and those steps are reflected on the main display. By the way, I actually don’t like that the steps are counted while I’m using the elliptical. To me, exercising on the elliptical is one thing, steps are another. But that’s the way Garmin has programmed that activity....
