Blank screen, unable to use my watch anymore

Hello everyone,

So I woke up today with a watch which appears to no longer function properly. The screen is blank, when I press on it the backlight still lights up, but other than that, I see no watchface and nothing. The watch apparently also stopped tracking my sleep in the middle of the night, which I assume it stopped functioning. When I hook it up to Garmin Express, it still seems to connect. So I suspect the screen may be broken.

But before I request an RMA from Amazon, I'm asking if this may be in any way resolved right now, which is the preferable alternative. I've been meaning to try a factory reset, but the official guides say to go into the settings menu of the watch, which is impossible for me.

    Press and hold the only button until it vibrates (like 10 seconds). This will cause the watch to turn off resetting it without losing your settings and data. Then turn it off. It's probably just hung and this will fix it.
