stopped vibrating.

Hey, has anyone had any issues with their watch stopped Vibrating after updating to firmware 3.30? I've check the settings in the watch, checked the settings in the Garmon App on my phone and even completely power down all the way, and it still will not vibrate on notifications from my phone. It's worked perfectly fine until latest update 3.30. Can you downgrade firmware? Or anything else to try?

  • We would recommend performing a hard reset (hold the power button in until the device powers off completely) before powering it back on and testing again. If this does not resolve the issue, you will need to reach out to your local product support team for assistance.
  • Also recommend doing a restart of your phone.

    OK thank you for your suggestions but nothing seems to be working. I've restarted my phone, watch, hard restarted watch and reset all the setting back to factory. The only thing I haven't done with do an complete data and reset, which I really don't want to do. Up till the latest firmware 3.30 , it was working perfect. Is there away to go back to an older firmware?
  • Have you checked your notification settings? For some reason, mine have changes (GCM update?)

    in GCM->Garmin Device-> your watch->Sounds & Alters-> Phone notifications

    Make sure that these are set up as you want it, ie Show all notification Not during an activity. Just in case the setting changed for you too.
  • Exactly the same problem after SW 3.30 update. I have checked setting , than restart, reset ... nothing help.
    After chatting with the Garmin Support - I will send the content of the "Garmin" folder to the support team - let's see if they can solve it

    I just bought my watch. Vibration worked fine until the software updated. Now nothing. It does vibrate while booting up but thats it. Tried reset and all that jazz. Fix this garmin!

    Thank You, least I'm not the only one. Mine worked 100% until the latest update and now only vibrates on booting up. I've tried everything and nothing seems to be working, reset watch, uninstall/reinstalled garmin connect on my phone, made sure all the setting on the watch and GC has it turned on....Nothing has worked, I have missed tons of alerts, missed calls, emails and such, which I rely on a LOT since I can't have my phone on my all the time at work. Hopefully they can find something and fix the issue.

    I had this issue, contacted Garmin support and they went through all the settings, which were already set correctly, but toggled them off then on again and now it seems to be working.
