- Looks promising: The watch vibrates, I choose Reply, I select a canned message, I send, I see "Sent!" and a green check mark, and then I see my main watch face.
- But no text: My SMS text message reply is not received by the person who originally texted or phoned me, except sometimes after 1-12 hours.
- Example of very late text: Sent a reply at 9:30pm yesterday; it was received by the other person at 12:30am, 3 hours later, when both phones had been untouched for 2 hours.
- Clue: In the example, the time stamp in my Android/Samsung Messages app was for 12:30am, the delayed time.
- My default Android/Samsung Messages app does not always have a record of the watch outgoing canned reply-text.
I would appreciate help with possible fixes, things to attempt, or inspired pointers for this delayed/lost text problem. Thank you for your time.

P.S. I have a VA3 Music. I put the post here because there are 30 times as many posts here. Perhaps it's confusing since the watches have different firmware numbers.
Garmin Vivoactive 3 Music. Factory reset Sept 3 2018. Did not help.

- Notifications turned on in the phone: Connect, Contacts, Hangouts, Messages [On lock screen: Show content; Preview message: On], and Google Voice.
- Garmin Connect Smart Notifications turned on: Connect, Contacts, Hangouts, Messages, S Voice, Settings, Skype, and Google Voice.
- Watch Phone Notifications turned on in the watch: Show All, Show All, and 3 minutes.
- Notifications widget active
Watch App Permissions: all on, including SMS and Phone
