If I try to change the number of fields in the data field layout I get a big green tick in a green circle but the number of fields remains stubbornly at 4-field. I can select any number from 1 to 4 in the "Layout" menu item but after that big green tick appears I'm still getting 4 fields.
I tried Garmin's customer support but after a week they just sent me an extract from the online help. Oh, and if selecting a number doesn't work they recommend turning it off and on; then a full data reset might magically fix it (as well as deleting all my data, music, audio books, podcasts, ...)
Has anyone seen this problem and overcome without resorting to a complete restart from fresh?
