Connect Varia Vision to Vivoactive 3

This is from the Situational Awareness section of the Vivoactive 3 Users Manual: "Your vívoactive[SUP]®[/SUP] 3 device can be used with the Varia Vision

device, Varia

smart bike lights, and rearview radar to improve situational awareness. See the owner's manual for your Varia device for more information."

There is nothing in the Varia Vision manual about using it with the Vivoactive 3. The radar and smart lights can be accessed from the VA3, but not (as far as I can tell) the Varia Vision. Is this just a poorly worded entry in the manual? Or is there a way to connect the Varia Vision with the VA3?

I guess Garmin messed up this entry in the manual or they plan on fixing it through a firmware update. (Okay, stop laughing now.)

I have bought varia vision to use with my va3. Thought it was a good chance it will work. As in some places it was mentioned to work.
Did not work. Incompatible. And it will not work. That was the answer. Wrote it here and the thread was closed immediately. Returned vv to amazon...

ps vv is working after some update with vahr. Found threads with users using it like that. Just the usability is much more limited if to compare eith edge.
