Software update - malfunction and shut down

My device (VA3) started it's usual automatic software update on 01 July and completed at 20h00 (GMT+2)...completed and synced then inexplicably started flicking between the activity start screen and the watch face, then shut down (battery was on 64% at the time) and has been completely unresponsive since.
I have tried plugging the device into a power source (including a computer) and have tried pressing and holding the button forever, pressing it once, multiple times, etc. and absolutely no response, please help!

    Can you define the word forever? For resetting the VA3 you need to press and hold longer as 15 sec. if that does not help, I'm afraid you need to contact the support for replacement.

    Yep, longer than 15 secs...going through the support process now, thanks
