My watch can't update GPS Version. Please help.

I have some update issues.

When I check the SW Versions in watch it says:
- SW Version 5.00
- GPS Version 0.00
- TSC Version 2.1
- Sensor Version 6.00
- WHR Version 20.03.31
- Connect IQ 2.4.4

When I start and stop an activity, my GPS Version number shows 4.30. Then, my watch tries to update, restarts and GPS Version goes to 0.00.

Also, when I connect it to Garmin Express, if I haven't started an activity previously and my GPS Version is 0.00, there isn't any update available. If it states the Version 4.30, Garmin Express shows an available update to Version 4.40, I get screens to agree with Terms and Conditions, update is downloaded and as soon as I disconnect the watch - nothing happens.

Is there any solution for my problem?

Is there any possibility to install GPS update manually? Every time the watch tried to do it by itself, it stucks in continuous Boot-Loop.
I'm really close to smashing it against the wall. Please, can someone give me any advice, except sending it to the Service?

I have already tried that. If my watch says that GPS Version is 0.00, it doesn't give me any update. If I go outside and I start an activity to get a GPS fix, my watch says I have GPS Version 4.30.
When I connect my watch to the PC (Garmin Express), I get notification that an update is available, and I install it through the webupdater. When my watch is still connected to the PC, Garmin Express says I'm up to date. But, after I disconnect my watch, there's text on my watch "Preparing update", it restarts twice and nothing happens. GPS Version goes to 0.00 again.

Also, when I check files in my watch, GPS folder is empty.

Maybe I'm not understanding you right but webupdater is not the same as garmin express.

Anyway, I tried to update GPS Version through the webupdater (see the photos, please), but with no luck at all.
It showed me available update, I agreed, followed the steps and installation was finished. After I disconnected my watch from the PC, my GPS Version was stil 4.30. Then, the watch restarted twice and my GPS Version was 0.00.

first time I'm seeing webupdater.
i guess u should try garmin express instead.

Well garmin express was the first thing she/he tried and it didn't work.

After updating and before getting a first GPS fix, watch always shows GPS Version is 0.00. Only after getting a GPS fix it will show a correct GPS version. If neither webupdater, garmin express or garmin connect didn't work, I have no more ideas on how to help you.

Maybe try to do factory reset and try updating on a freshly reseted device?.

to my understanding as per post #5, garmin express was only used to see if an update was available... and webupdater was used to update.

No, they referred to garmin express as webupdater since they didn't know that they are two different apps.
