Incoming call notification is buggy on Android.

I'm on firmware 3.50 and on my S5 when I get an incoming call notification I face two issues:
1) the option to reject the call with an sms is randomly missing, often the sms icon doesn't appear.
2) after I answer the call on the phone, most of the times the VA3 is still stuck on displaying the incoming call, like I didn't answer, until I dismiss it.
Any solution?

As it ever worked o the VA3? On my previous VAHR, it had always acted that way. Pressing 'Answer' never did anything. Phone is a Samsung Notes8

Sad to here. As one datapoint, it all works correctly for me. I'm running:

VA3 5.60.0.0
Samsung Galaxy S7 with Android 8 and Samsung 9
Garmin Connect Mobile 4.8 (notice this a backrev, not current GCM. Current GCM fails LiveTrack on my VA3 and Edge 520)

It might be worth the try to downrev your GCM to see if 4.8 works with your VA3. To do this, see my post in this forum string (post #19): https://forums.garmin.com/forum/into-sports/garmin-connect/1430825-no-signal-trying-to-connect-live-track/page2

If it does not solve the problem, just go back to current GCM by downloading it from the Google Play Store.

Yes it has. On my VAHR. Pressing the call button would connect the call. If there's no use for the accept button, in VA3, why's it there in the first place.

For some strange reason it worked today on my VA3 music. Clicking on the call button on the watch actually connected the call on the phone. That's the first time in a month since I've purchased it and the software version is also the same. No upgrades yet.

Same here. If answer the call on phone, notification on watch will stay until you pressed answer/reject button on watch. Very annoying.
VA3 music. SW version 3.30, phone Moto z play, Android 8.0

I did never have any problems with call notifications so far. Bought my VA3 in december, came with SW 5.70. Now I'm on 5.90.

I have this issue on my Fenix 5HR as well. Looks like it was never fixed. Any updates?

Same on Fenix 6x sapphire / FW 4.30

Issue #2 is very annoying. Moreover, you will miss the first call after the issue happens - watches will not notify you. But just after this happens the false incoming call notification disappears.

Samsung Galaxy s9, stock Android 9.0

Same problem on vivoactive4 and android 9. Latest available SW 4.0 and 4.27 GC.
Impossible to remove missed call notification. Very annoying bug. In the end i bought samsung active2 ;)

But I know workaround for this bug - just call to you phone from another, and disable phone notification in smart notify in GC.
