Can't download watch faces

Hi,
Just unpacked my watch and updated it to 3.50.
So I wanted to change the watch face (because the default ones are very ugly), as there were no default ones installed. But on the store, it keeps on asking for a newer version (written in French, with {0} instead of the watch name)...
Any ideas on what is going on?

OK, it seems that you can't add watch faces from the mobile app, but from something that has Garmin Express, not Garmin Connect.
What a crappy way.

If you just got a new watch, you likely got new FW right after you set it up. What's happening is the app store doesn't know you've updated the FW, and it thinks you're still on on the old FW. If you Sync with Garmin Express (maybe try power cycling the watch first), or re-pair with the phone, this will likely solve the problem.

Speaking of watch faces... is there an app/program to allow you to design your own watch face?

There's the "Face it" app for your phone which allows you to build a watch face with a picture, and there's always Connect IQ if you want to build something more complex. With CIQ, it's not just watchfaces, but also widgets, data fields, and watch-apps. The Main CIQ Developer Forum.
