Longest hike/run without charging

Hi.
I wasn't able to find a related topic but what's the longest you have either hiked or ran with single charge? I am looking into VA3 but would like to know if this 13 hours promised is actually achievable or not?

Thank you.

Not at all using GPS. For this lasting you need to go for the Fenix
  • One thing to bear in mind is you can "charge on the go". Charge it a bit when you are taking a break. Set the USB mode to "garmin", and bring the charging cable and something like a battery based cellphone charger. I've not done a timed test since the original va, but with GPS in a hiking app, and a bit of a charge every hour or two, I stopped after 20 hrs, and still had a 75% battery level. With a fenix, you can avoid the "charge on the go", but a va3 can last pretty long with it.

    Thank you for feedback.
I have decided to go with Suunto Ambit3 Peak as I found it was on big sale in Amazon. Considering the price, other options would have been to buy used Fenix3. Reading reviews and user feedback then technology wise they should be equal just Fenix3 is more user friendly but that's the risk I am willing to take.
