Barometric pressure is inaccurate

Hello,

It seems that the barometric pressure is inaccurate, indicating weird values for pressure and, consequently, for the heigth.
I'm currently at the sea level, and it is indicating I'm 228 m height.
Is there a way to recalibrate it? A factory reset would fix (it was recomended to me factory reset to solve other issues brought by version 3.30)...
Regards
  • Can't you calibrate your altimeter? That would take care of the barometric pressure as well, since these two values are tightly linked.

You will have to repeat the calibration frequently since the ambient pressure at your location will change all the time, and you need to tell the watch that it has changed.
  • With auto-calibrate for the altimeter, it will calibrate it based on GPS data when you start an activity, and that may work fine in your location, so no need to keep manually calibrating, depending how how much you use GPS
  • My point is that the watch can't keep showing correct altitude without being recalibrated frequently. Whether the recalibrations happens manually or automatically has no relevance to this point.
  • Thank you guys.
I'm going to try both ways.
By the way, calibrating the compass is very difficult.
    Any tip?
    Thanks again.
