Running Courses

I know this device isn't compatible with courses, but does the GPS data collected go into a leaderboard?

I created a course in Connect that I run regularly, and track it using VA3, but I can't seem to see how the data is collected.....i.e. ranking the times each time the course is completed?

Any info would be appreciated.

As far as I know it only works or does something with Strava segments... but I'm not a Strava user so wouldn't be the best person to talk to about that.
