"Phone Disconnected" message keeps popping up if I walk away from my phone.

Wanted to report an issue with the VA3.

When I walk away from my phone, a notification pops up "phone disconnected." Once would be fine, I suppose, but it keeps repeating over and over again until I'm reunited with my phone.

This might be connected with the 4.2 update people are struggling with - as I just noticed it around the time of that update.

Vivoactive 3. LG G5.

Any help you can provide would be appreciated.

It keeps buzzing and repeating the message over and over again - like every minute.

My expected behavior would be to buzz once - and issue the message once - not repeat it.

I have turned off the disconnect / connect alerts, not required
I often leave my phone on my desk as I walk around the house. The good thing with the VA3 is that the reconnect is automatic & provides a seamless operation. I use a watch face that shows the BT connection status so can see in a glance if the VA3 is or is not connected to my phone.
I have monitored and logged the times the phone connects & disconnects from the VA3. Interestingly it is quite frequent, especially when the VA3 is near the limit of BT range, the frequency increases as connect and disconnect time periods can be from a few seconds. Not sure how the VA3 handles the alerts for these events but expect it could be one reason why you are getting multiple alerts.

"Settings>Phone>Connection Alerts" on the watch.
