Rev A,B or C? Connected problems

As there are so many faulty devices out there, it seems there may be a connection between watch and the place they were build...

my watch is rev C and I got nearly no problems at all.

how about yours? You can find the information in the bottom text of the box they came in.

is possible read it from the watch? because at the bottom of box I have Rev. C and on the side I have Rev. B
the all bottom number: 007-03088-10 Rev. C
on the side number: 007-03087-10 Rev.B

and I have some issue sw v2.90:
- alarm not working
- weather information are missing
- problem with counting of floors

Not sure about that as I have the same information as myreku but I do not have any of the issues.

Okay.. the same here, didn’t see the rev B on the side. So I’m probably wrong about that.. and we continue to be surprised by garmins devices.....

Someone suggested weeks ago that the rev versions represented location or hardware revisions. I don't know what it means, but I don't think it's either of those. I bought mine mid September and there was no rev on the box. My wife's had rev B that was bought in mid December at the same store. The other day I went in that store and there was only one VA3 available. Rev A.

Not sure about that as I have the same information as myreku but I do not have any of the issues.

Same here (same info as myreku/Spencerr -- EXC my numbers end with "-11" and not "-10").

I have wake up alarm that works well with vibration set to strongest setting and weather widget works fine (not that I ever use it).

My VA3:

Bottom Number: 007-03088-10 Rev. C
Side Number: 007-03087-10 Rev. B

My biggest problem:
HRM causes battery drain. Approx. 1.3 % more per hour

Which version has no issues?

very few bugs, just sometimes fast battery drain from ~100-90% if I unplug the watch directly when it reaches 100%

Unfortunately, I threw my box away. My vivo has very few bugs, but the GPS battery drain is extreme. It's difficult to know whether or not that is a hardware issue or if it is something that will be fixed with a future firmware update. I'd hate to return the watch only to get a new one that has many of the bugs that others are talking about.
