Basic help: Display HR on watch face

Hi,

Just got this watch. Could some kind sould explain how I show my current HR on a watch face? It isn't an option in the customization section. I can do pretty much everything else - there are three or for ways to show the battery life, for goodness sake - so I am sure I am missing something.

u need a 3rd party watch face.
there are a few that shows heart rate, but not many that show in real time...i only know of digistorm.
perhaps others may know what other faces do show.

HI - I installed one yesterday that has real time heart rate - CleanAnalogPlus.
Nice and simple and has lots of customisation options.
Not sure on battery drain though - have gone down 20% since yesterday with only two activities lasting 90 mins or so :confused:

I was also surprised that Garmin didn't have a built-in watch face that displayed HR. I was used to this coming over from FitBit. There also aren't a lot of 3rd party watch faces that have this option. After searching high and low, this one is my favorite. It's Alpha by PlayItLoud. It did cost me $1, but totally worth it for the design and HR option.

From the picture, the "68" number on the bottom left is HR. I have steps on the bottom right. All of the fields are configurable. ciq.forums.garmin.com/.../1293107.jpg

This one displays HR in real time. I got 3 others that do too (Four Fields, 6-8-10 Fields, and Simple Activity) Simple Heart

It displays the HR in a larger font. The others show it with a number of other metrics at the same time.

Simple Heart makes the HR quite visible - a lager font for that - I I also display the steps in the same large font (but I don't do 1hz for those). The others I mentioned work the same way, but the hr is the same size as the other data (with 4-10 data fields)

I use Germon 3. Its the one I like the most so far.

The real-time update function of heart rhythms is not working on any the watch face. My equipment is a Fenix 5X with firmmware 12.00 version.
Help me, please.

This is a thread in the va3 forum, so not the f5x. The HW on a f5x is different and no CIQ watchface can show "real time" HR.

I use ActiFace. Beside displaying the current HR value, it also displays the last 2 hours in a graph format of the watch face.

I use KISS Analog HR. Nice face, clean, simple, lots of data options.
