Side Swipe Control

I have the side Swipe control turned off, as I prefer to use the touchscreen for navigation. I don't think I'm the only user who does this. Rather than have an unused control, providing a choice for this control would mean more people using Side Swipe.
Personally, I would prefer to use Side Swipe to toggle the backlight. I am experimenting with the backlight switched off, as I find the auto on when navigating the touchscreen to be unwanted most of the time. I would appreciate turning on the backlight to read the time, as I used to do with the original VA.

    I think a lot of people turn the Side Swipe off for the same reason I do. Inadvertent touches happening when they flex their wrist.
    I wear my watch on my right hand with the button on the right and in casual use and while doing either strength training or yoga any type of bending my hand upward would cause the skin folds to actuate the Side Swipe and change screens.

    The only good use I see for it is changing screens while running because I find it hard to swipe the touch screen properly while running and end up back at the time display. If it wasn't a hassle to turn Side Swipe on and off I'd use it when running but I'd rather not bother so just leave it off. I actually forget it exists until it's brought up in this forum.

    Where do I turn that off?
    I´m pretty sure, that I already seen that. But I switched it to inverted first and never used it. When it is very cold or wet outside, the watch is illuminated during the whole activity. I expect it to be the jacket swiping on the side swipe.
    So I wanted to deactivate it. But there is only Invert & Standard. No deactivate option :eek:

    Where you can choose between Default and Inverted there's a vertical bar next to the words Side Swipe that should be half green. Tap on that bar so that it goes grey to disable it.
