The fingernail idea is really good to know, sat at my desk it certainly seems to be much better than a fingertip tap. This feature has been driving me nuts during intervals or track sessions, especially in winter. Just now I was looking at the price of a Forerunner to give me a proper lap button.
Idk if this is helpful, but I have a free stopwatch app in the CIQ store which:
- Can record activities, just like the normal run app
- Supports "alternate controls" for VA3:
Key = Start / Lap
Double-Tap Screen = Stop
Maybe you could use this for your HIIT intervals.
