Hi, I am experiencing an issue with certain pre-loaded apps, like skiing, and certain Connect IQ apps not registering position and distance data. Apparently this is a problem that arose with update 2.7 on Viivoactive 3, as per the following note on one of the Connect IQ apps :
CAUTION Vivoactive 3 owners: Users of Connect IQ apps are reporting that the Dec 8th V2.7 firmware update for this watch is not recording position data in your saved activities. Check with Garmin for a fix.
I can't find any reference to this in the forums - does anyone know if this is being addressed, or anything about the issue? A distance measuring device that doesn't measure distance isn't much use.
