VA3 button half press?

Just got a VA3 yesterday. Didn't spend much time yet but first impressions are generally positive. Compared to the VAHR is a good step up.

Only thing that I'm not so happy about is the button's feel. I have to press it aaaallll the way to (sometimes) feel the "click". It's almost like it has a 2 step, pretty much like some other smart watches or camera shutters where you can soft press to do an action (focus), and full press for another (take picture).

This morning on my daily bike commute I pressed the button to start the activity, just to realize half an hour later that the button wasn't fully pressed so activity never actually started.

Anyone feels the same here? Or did I just get a bad unit?

Thanks!
  • I noticed that sensation at first and wasn't sure if it went away or if I just adapted to it. Just now I pressed the button and I can still sense it if I look for it so I guess I adapted.

it feels almost the switch they used is designed to have a half-press as an option.
  • Yeah I figured that out... Getting used now to "full press" no matter what. Tried a bunch of VA3s on a store and they all have the same behaviour.
