Heart rate zones wrong or not able to configure

When I try to configure my heart rate zones on my watch it is always set to 131 for every zone. When I change it, the other zones get the same heart rate.
I can configure them online or in the connect app but there is no way to check if they are correct, and I doubt if the heart rate zones on my watch are the same as the one in the connect app.
I'm not sure if this is a bug or if I'm doing something wrong.

Are you updating your zones in your mobile app & then syncing the watch?
  • I'm updating the zones online and syncing it with the cable and I've checked the zones on the mobile app and synced that one too mobile app and online are the same.

Open an activity like "run". Before starting the app, click "settings", and then "data screens". Scroll to "HR zone gauge". Turn that on then start the activity . The hr gauge will show your zones in different colors and will show your heart rate as you change zones. Hope this helps. It's the only way I can think of to verify the zones on the watch.
  • TMK17 thanks, I know that screen I thought that there was an easier way to check the zone, I'll do a run and try to check the zones like that. However I still find it strange that I can't set the zones manually on the watch, that if I change one or view one they are all the same.

I had the same issue. Maybe someone who knows of an easier way will read this and post how to do it. I don't recall if I could view my zones on my FR235, but I had a Connect IQ app that showed me the settings for each zone and how long I spent in each zone. I'm not sure if one is available for the VA3.
