Bodypump tracking

Hi!

I want to buy a Vivoactive 3 when available, it will be my first fitness tracker.

O do a few activities/classes and love BobyPump but since it's a mix of stregth and cardio what's the best tracking mode? Stregth? Cardio?

Thanks!

Depends what you are tracking. Both can be setup the same so its a matter of preference. Are you just looking to see your burned calories?

When I do Crossfit, ( with my Fenix 3 or 5 ) I would use Strength app and rename it Crossfit, with the VA3 you cant rename the apps which is a bummer and an entirely different topic! ha
  • Would highly suggest using a chest strap for your BodyPump classes. Any bending of the wrists when using the weights will give you very inaccurate heart rate readings.

I found if I scoot up the watch and tighten it down during Crossfit or HIIT workouts its as accurate as my Chest HRM or my Schosche Rythm + very impressive

Still it's easy to rename any workout either using the web or mobile version of GC.

I do know about that. I am actually talking about an app. Like when you scroll through Run Walk Cardio Strength Bike - on the fenix5 and 3 you can copy one of these and rename it Crossfit or whatevetr you want. So then you do not have to log in and change the workout name.
