Venu & Jaybird Vista Connection

I’m having connectivity issues with Venu and Jaybird Vista headphones. I’ve factory reset, updated firmware on both headphones and watch. It’s become frustrating when the music stops every 2-5 minutes.

Unfortunately, I’m still having issues. Anyone know what I need to do? 

  • I have the Jaybird Vista 2. Works great 90% of the time. Occasionally, especially when I'm wearing extra clothing, which inhibits Bluetooth transmission, the audio will cut out. 

    According to the manual, it shouldn't matter which earbud controls the device.

    However, I've found that I get better performance from switching the Garmin watch to the other wrist. If audio still cuts out, I'll take out one earbud and hold it in my fist to force the earbuds to be controlled by the other earbud.

  • Even though I'm getting mostly good performance from the Jaybird earbuds, I'm considering switching to the Jabra brand. I've used them before and had more consistently good results.
