My Venu stopped connecting to GPS about 2 months ago and since then the battery life is less than a day. I can strangely extend this by starting an activity without gps and either letting it run without location information or stopping it after a minute or so. In addition, saving or cancelling seems to have stopped - pressing the area on the bottom of the screen where the green tick is does nothing and at other times whatever option is at the top of the screen does nothing.
I've done multiple restarts, reset to factory settings and removed any non standard watch faces.
Garmin cannot tell me why it might have done this and say it's dead. They have offered a replacement - but a refrubished one not new - for £134 - which is a lot of money for a second hand watch which might develop the same problem.
Anybody else had this issue and managed to fix it?
