Venu not recording swimming distance or time

HI,

Been using my Venu for a a few years now without too much problems. The last 2 swims I have had, it have not recorded the distanceor the time.

When I start my swim I see the timer as before on the top field and it appears to be correct but nothing is showing on the distance field (bottom). I have the pool size set to 25m as it has always been.

Interestingly, after my 45m swim has been saved, Garmin Connect shows a moving time of 0??

Any ideas?

I have just pressed the button for about 30 sces and got a message in red saying somethinig about using Garmin Connect to change the settings on the watch.

Now it is working again.
