Are there any Garmin products that do NOT auto save?

I have the Venu and I absolutely do NOT want the auto save feature. It actually is not a feature, its more like an annoyance and unnecessary. I used to have an old Garmin and it never auto saved. Why would Garmin do such a ridiculous thing and ruin its products?

Do you want this only for the automatically started activities or also for the manually started ones?

If only for the automatically ones, disable the option to automatically start activities.

Looking at all the posts from various Garmin watch products almost every post is from people who want this feature disabled. I DO NOT WANT MY GARMIN TRACKER WATCH TO AUTO SAVE EVER. It appears many others are frustrated with this horrible feature as well.
