Equipement association to activities

Hello,

It is possible to create a new activity (for instance Montain Bike) by cloning an existing activity (for instance Bike).

It is possible to create 2 different bikes. For instance MTB, eBike.

Is it possible to associate each bike to each activity (MTB <-> Montain, eBike <-> Bike) rather than type of activity, I mean cycling ?

    You can “create new” and pick an activity like to clone like bike.  You can’t come up with your own names, you are limited to what they offer.  Bike for instance you can call it, bike (2), bike indoor (2), trainer, road, mountain, race, spin and train.

    I found a solution to my issue.

    You can create 2 equipment. For instance 2 bikes. One of the two bikes is assigned by defult to a type of activity. For instance cycling.

    When a bike activity is registered in Garmin Connect application, you can select the activity, add/suppress an equipment. Using this function, you can assign the activity to the bike of your choice.
