Try again with MoveIQ off pls. For me that helped. However, the Venu then does not have all the functionality.

Having Move IQ off shouldn’t effect any functionality other than it automatically inserting a walk, run, bike, or elliptical into your timeline.  Easier to save the battery and just manually start an activity.

Same! And mine also turns off about 2 hours after wearing it. (Still with battery power)

Circling back here - factory reset + moveIQ off had no improvement in battery life. My watch continues to die with less than a day's worth of activity.

To clarify since my verbiage here was ambiguous in this context -- my watch is dying while not recording any "activity", just idly sitting on my wrist, in less than a day.

I've been in touch with Garmin support and they are going to replace mine with a reconditioned unit, even though I still reckon it's a software issue, which I mentioned 2 or 3 times. Good support there, hopefully it works, I'll keep you all updated.

I am having the same issue.  Had no issue previously with the battery life.  I have had the watch for about 2 years now and only ever needed to charge it 1 time every 7 days or so.  Now, I charged it fully yesterday, and today it is below 50% already with only 1 30 min activity logged.  Hope the issue is resolved soon, because it is really annoying.
