Venu - swim pool length

How do I know which pool length is selected on my Garmin Venu? I have selected 25m pool length, but today it measured my swim in yards so I presume it has defaulted to a pool length of 25 yards.

There doesn't seem to be any visual indication of which length has been selected.

The units in my system settings is Miles. Would I have to change it to km for it to pick up a 25m pool.

Any help on this apprectiated.

When you go to do a swim activity, tap the arrow/chevon at the bottom of the screen before starting the activity. Tap settings, pool size, you should see both meter and yard choices for swimming pool size. I see both 25, 33 1/3 and 50 in both yards and meters. Seems like it should remember your last choice but not positive on that. It should show what you have selected though.

Thank you Cindi, yes, my watch shows me the list of available options of pool lengths but no indication of which one is selected.

It seems that i have to put my system units to km to be able to use 25m. I had my system units in miles, and although I had selected 25m pool length it defaults to 25yards. Because it doesn't confirm which pool size it is using I only found out when I had completed my swim to find it measured in yards.

I guess the logic makes sense, its just not the best user interface!
