Running activity option not shown on watch

Had my venu watch for a while now and I use it quite regularly to record many activities including running.

This weekend I went to complete a run but the option was not showing on my watch so had to record it as a walk and then change the activity in the app to running.

I've looked through all the options in the apps and my watch but can't seem to be able to get running back up as an option to record.

Anyone else experienced this?

Have you tried to go to Garmin Connect on mobile then select your device > Activities, Apps & More > Activities & Apps and see if you can find it there?

Hi, yes I've tried this really weird it's just disappeared

Try seeing if you can load it back in with the watch itself. Go to settings, activity and apps, scroll through the activities. If you don’t see it, then tap on “add more” at the bottom of the screen and see if you can find it and tap the + sign to add it back in.

If it still doesn’t appear, try restarting the watch, not through the menu but holding down the A button until it shuts off (past any notifications), then turn it back on. Usually that fixes weird stuff also.
