I updated my Venu to 6.10 yesterday morning and immediately lost the auto-scroll option from my running screen to see the various stats during my run. The option appears to have been removed completely. Has anyone else had this issue?

Former Member Garmin-ZacGarmin-AmberDFormer Member can we get official statement on this problem? You guys can't tell me that desired functionality for autoscrolling is display always turned on. That will…
Yes, I noticed today that the auto-scroll feature is no longer functioning since updating to v6.10
Ah that's good to know - I am going to phone them today and will share their response.
I have just spoken to Garmin and have a fix. On your Venu, go in to Settings > System > Display and change "During Activity" to Always On. This will then mean the Auto-Scroll option in your activity settings will be available again. It seems that the update unexpectedly changed the Display setting which then removed the Auto-Scroll option. Thankfully an easy fix and I am back up and running!

The desired behaviour for the vast majority of users is as follows: have display turned off and when I raise my wrist, auto-scroll over data screens to show stats, put wrist back down and turn the screen off. What you have described as a fix means that my display will be always on and scrolling over available data screens even when I won't be looking at my watch. That will significantly reduce battery life for long activities, such as a 100+ km rides.

I agree. It would be nice to have a permanent fix.
Brilliant! Thanks so much for this - I had noticed it had stopped scrolling when I was exercising and it was really annoying, but I kept forgetting to go and reset it before I used it again! I figured it had just reset to a "no" default with an update, then I found it had gone as an option altogether. So happy to have it back :-)
